Health became fitness.
Maintenance became improvement.
And eventually…
It became normal.
Now nobody says:
“I’m going to the health club to prevent illness.”
They say:
“I’m hitting the gym.”
It’s part of identity.
Part of routine.
Part of everyday life.
But mentally?
We’re still stuck in the “health club” era.
We call it mental health.
And for most people, that still means:
– Something is wrong
– Something needs to be fixed
– I’ll deal with it when it gets bad enough
The future isn’t mental health.
It’s mental fitness.
Daily reps.
Stronger self-talk.
Better questions.
Intentional thinking.
Not because something is broken…
But because you’re building something. |
