| Many people want to build self-confidence but feel weird saying positive affirmations over and over again because they just don’t feel genuine, and who could blame them?!
There is a better way!
Self-confidence is a tricky thing, because all too often therapists and authors tell you to go at it directly with positive affirmations. The trouble here is that the gap from one’s preconditioned, negative thinking to the overly-idealistic mantra is often too far off to bridge and so the effort fails.
The better way to go about it is to recognize that self-improvement is a by product that comes continuous self-improvement over time.
Thats why I creayed the Mental Fitness 12-week workbook. If you can complete the whole workbook over time, then self-confidence will come as the genuine by product of that.
See, that’s the key. Self-confidence isn’t something you gain directly. Rather, you gain it as a byproduct of small but consistent changes in thinking and behavior over time.
